What is 'Letters from the Woodland'?

Letters from the Woodland is a monthly snail mail subscription. Each month you'll receive a beautifully illustrated envelope from Clover, filled with news from the village of Thimblewick, cosy seasonal delights, and little keepsakes to brighten your day.

What arrives each month?

Every letter includes:

  • A handwritten-style letter from Clover.

  • The latest edition of The Woodland Gazette.

  • Illustrated keepsakes such as postcards, bookmarks or recipe cards.

  • Seasonal surprises inspired by life in Thimblewick.

Each month's post is a little different, so there is always something new to discover.

How much does it cost?

£10 for letters to the UK
£13 for letters overseas.

Does the price include postage?

Yes. The subscription price already includes postage.

  • UK Membership (£10/month) includes UK postage.

  • Overseas Membership (£13/month) includes worldwide postage.

There are no extra postage charges at checkout.

Do you post internationally?

Absolutely! Woodland letters travel happily across the world.

Simply choose the Overseas Membership when you join the village, and your monthly letters will make their journey across the sea to your letterbox.

When will my first letter arrive?

If you join before the end of the month, your first letter will be posted during the first week of the following month. If you join after the monthly cut-off, you'll begin with the next month's letter.

When are the monthly letters posted?

Letters are packed and posted during the first week of each month. Delivery times vary depending on where you live, especially for international post.

Is it suitable for children?

The letters are written with adults in mind, especially anyone who enjoys cosy fantasy, nature, stationery, books and a little everyday magic. Older children may enjoy them too, particularly if they love reading and imaginative worlds.

Can I cancel whenever I like?

Yes. Your membership is monthly, and you can cancel at any time before your next renewal.

Will every letter be the same?

Not at all. Each month follows the changing seasons in the woodland and Thimblewick, so you'll receive new stories, village happenings, illustrations and little surprises throughout the year.

Who is Clover?

Clover is the keeper of The Woodland Apothecary near the village of Thimblewick. She writes each letter as though you're already part of the community, sharing everyday news over a cup of tea with a dear friend.

Is this handwritten?

Each letter is lovingly written in Clover's voice, then thoughtfully designed and professionally printed so every villager receives the same beautiful experience.

Why are places limited?
Every month's post is assembled, packed and prepared by hand in my little studio on the Isle of Wight. Limiting membership means I can give each month's post the care and attention it deserves, while keeping the experience personal and magical.

Is Thimblewick a real place?

The address belongs to the story, rather than a place on the map.

Thimblewick is an imaginary village, lovingly created for The Woodland Apothecary. While Clover, Nuggett and their neighbours may not have an official postcode, every letter is very real and posted to you from my little studio on the Isle of Wight.
